MUAY THAI SEMINAR - ARJAN CHAI SIRISUTE

On June 26th & 27th the Internationally renowned Muay Thai expert Arjan Chai Sirisute, founder and President of the Thai Boxing Association of the USA, taught a two day seminar at Martial Arts Unlimited located in Clawson, MI. owned and operated by Chris Malgeri.

Hosted by Sifu David Hatch, owner of Attributive Martial Arts in Canton, MI., Arjan Chai graciously taught both basic and advanced concepts in the art of Muay Thai, also commonly referred to as Thai Boxing. We would like to thank Sifu Chris Malgeri for opening up his school for this event. Together these two men make it possible for those in Michigan to have the opportunity to train with some of the top martial artists in the world today.

CAPOEIRA WORKSHOP- CONTRA MESTRE BENGALA

On June 12th Lansing Michigan was visited by Capoeira Contra Mestre (Jr. Master) Bengala. This four hour workshop focused on the basic and intermediate movements of the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira, and was hosted by the Lansing group’s leader, Kevin “Forca” Hendrickson.

This workshop was attended by KSK Martial Arts founder Guro T. Kent Nelson as well as KSK Martial Arts assistant instructor Josu Brett Eckhart. Kevin “Forca” Hendrickson has always been a big supporter of KSK Martial Arts and all of our events. We appreciate his invitation to this workshop and thank him for giving the Lansing community an opportunity to train with such a knowledgeable teacher as Contra Mestre Bengala.
