CONGRATULATIONS to MARTIN JOHNSON!

Our good friend and Affiliate Group Leader, Martin Johnson, was promoted from Affiliate Instructor Candidate to an Affiliate Apprentice Instructor on the 25th of this month. He and his senior student, Charles Byrd, traveled from the Cleveland, OH. area to us here at KSK in Lansing, MI. for a full training day and evaluation with Guro T. Kent Nelson. Martin & Charles did extremely well and demonstrated that they have been studying the Armas-Kali curriculum very diligently.

SEPTEMBER F.A.S.T. TRACK WAS A SUCESS!

This month we held another successful F.A.S.T. Track Phase-1 class. Having both new and old faces attending this two day intensive training, we focused on the realistic side of stand-up self defense, combining basic clinching with the US Navy SEAL’s “Rapid Assault Tactics” program (the RAT).

COMING SOON! - F.M.A./Armas-Kali Camp 2010 DVD

Here at KSK we are working feverishly to get all the techniques, training methods, fighting and fun that was had at this year’s weapons camp into your home and on your TV. This will be our very first 3-DVD Box Set. All of the video editing has been completed, and we are now working on Packaging and Product Reproduction. So keep an eye out.. it’ll be here soon!



WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST STUDENT... DAN WILLIAMS

This month me would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest KSK family member, Dan Williams. Dan came to us with previous experience in Chinese and Korean martial arts. Having familiar training methods on his feet, but completely new experiences on the ground, he's a hard worker and enjoys every minute of his training. Train hard, stay consistent, and you will achieve all your goals Dan.
